Accept surrendered reptiles from all over the Chicagoland area.
EDUCATION
Provide resources and education to the public on best practices for care and husbandry of reptiles.
ADOPT
Encourage potential reptile owners to adopt relinquished animals when they are ready for their forever home.
VOLUNTEER
Facilitate a network of general and foster volunteers to meet the needs of reptiles in the Chicagoland area.
ABOUT US
Chicago Herpetological Society Adoptions Program is committed to ensuring domesticated reptiles access to quality care and habitat through connecting individuals to resources, providing education, and promoting best husbandry practices. CHS Adoptions Program seeks to provide the Chicagoland community with rescue, shelter, veterinary, and adoption services for reptiles.
